BoyChild UpSkilling Project 2023-24

This past Rotary year 2023, particularly Rotary Uganda D9213, dedicated its efforts towards uplifting the Boy Child, one of the focus areas for Rotary International. The agenda aimed to bridge the gaps that hindered the holistic development of boys in our communities. To this effect, Rotary Uganda D9213 developed the Boy Child Up-Skilling Program (BCUP) project. The rationale was to create or consolidate educational opportunities for boys, conduct mindset changes through sharing learning experiences, and implement skilling project programs for boys. To empower the Boy Child, on the 13th of July 2023, The Rotary Club of Kiwatule in Partnership with Balintuma Zone in Kiwatule, Kampala District launched a skilling project in Balituma Zone. This was aimed at skilling the boy child within this community. This has been achieved through the following activities;
